If so, in addition to the registration, you must also provide us with the permission of the original author, together with any conditions and distribution of royalties. It is best to arrange all this in advance. Not all works may be translated or adapted.

Did the author of the work pass away more than 70 years ago? Then the work is no longer protected and you are free to translate or adapt the text.
